Creamy Alfredo sauce, lots of melted cheese, & bacon + ranch, macaroni pasta & soo much more...this recipe is addictive and incredibly easy to prepare!!
I'm always trying to make new recipes the kids will love, and this one was a massive winner! There's nothing complicated about it, and it's super versatile so play around with it and make it your own. Does your family like tomatoes? Dice up a few and add them to the dish. What about spinach? You can chop a little and add it, too. Whatever you add, I highly recommend keeping the bacon, cheese and Alfredo sauce. I am telling you the trio is out of this world good!
How to make this crack chicken Alfredo:
Cook the macaroni by following directions on the package until just soft. Be careful not to overcook as pasta will continue to soften while it's baking in the oven.
Mix Alfredo sauce, sour cream, ricotta cheese & eggs until well-combined. Then, add all the dry seasonings & mix with chicken & cooked macaroni.
Stir in half the cheese, and then add the remaining half on top of the casserole. Top with bacon, and slowly pour the chicken broth and heavy cream on the very top. Use a fork to gently poke a few "holes" for the broth and cream to get down into the casserole.
Bake & ENJOY!!
